I am an Oberlin College graduate from San Francisco, CA, currently living in Brooklyn, NY.

Through my work, I am telling personal visual narratives through printmaking, painting and small-scale soft sculpture that leave questions unanswered. Though it expands across various media, my work is connected through recurring motifs, characters and colors that express non-linear, emotive scenes of graphic simplicity and fluid abstraction. Through repetitive actions of pushing and pulling, scratching, carving, binding and layering mediums, art making functions as a non-verbal form of communication for myself to process and work through thoughts, without the viewer understanding exactly what they are being shown. Working in both abstract and representational forms, my work is fluid, impulsive and painterly, as well as graphic and intentional.
